Caribbean temperatures during December are slightly cooler than in previous months. The Bahamas and Cuba in the northern Caribbean have the most noticeable decline in heat.
Ocean temperatures this month average 79 degrees Fahrenheit in the Bahamas and 81 °F around most islands to the south.
Rainfall
The rain tapers off noticeably around the Caribbean now that the hurricane season has officially ended. Yet this is the rainiest time of year for some places, including Curaçao.
Among the driest Caribbean cities this month are Kingston, Havana and Bridgetown.
