September Rainfall Averages for Costa Rica
The tables below give September averages for rainfall at cities and other locations in Costa Rica. Each place has a total for how many days of wet weather it usually gets this month and for the normal amount of precipitation.
You can jump to a separate table for each region of the country: North – Central Costa Rica covering the provinces of Alajuela and Heredia, Western Costa Rica comprising Puntarenas and Guanacaste provinces, and Central & Eastern Costa Rica taking in San José, Cartago and Limón provinces.
The precipitation amounts are averages of weather data collected over many years.
